ELBEX Corporation was founded by Edward L. Bittle in 1991 after decades in the rubber industry during its heyday in Akron, Ohio.

 

Bittle originally worked for B.F. Goodrich in Akron before he left to form his own company — Seal Master. But Bittle saw an opportunity to leap into the custom rubber profile extrusions and rubber extrusion manufacturing markets.

 

Based in Kent, Ohio, ELBEX has multiple capabilities within rubber extrusion.
